Country Mice is a local charity supporting patients who are terminally ill and in need of additional ‘end of life’ care. We help bridge the gap in services left by other organisations in areas such as night nurses and night sitters, giving help and support to relatives caring for patients.
What do we offer?
- Night sitting service between 2000 hours -0800 hours to allow carers to get some rest. The sitters are nurses or individuals specially trained to manage this type of care.
- The lending of equipment on a short term basis which may be necessary during the last weeks of life.
